Volvo is a bit of an enigma. The Chinese-owned Swedish automaker releases a stunning concept from time to time, and we're often pleasantly surprised by the Volvos that enter out test fleet, but it hasn't done much to generate sales numbers -- or buzz -- in the North American market. A 1965 Maserati 3500 GT will cross the block at the Russo and Steele Collector Automobile Auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., Jan. 19-23, 2011. The vehicle is one of more than 2,000 Maserati 3500 GT models produced from 1955 through 1966.
Maserati will show an SUV concept car like this at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. It's the long-awaited Maserati 4x4 shown in thinly veiled show car guise; you can expect something very similar on London and Cheshire driveways from 2013. Based on the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the 2013 Maser SUV will have totally new bodywork and a bespoke interior.
